ASI Drives is in need of an experienced Business Development Manager with strong hands-on sales and marketing experience in durable goods, to lead the launch of ASI’s new robotics and autonomous material handling device, FRED2500.
This new position will work in collaboration with the President and other key employees to develop and then implement all of the sales/marketing strategies, tactics, processes, and procedures for this new product. Once the sales and marketing processes are in place, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for personally driving sales growth regionally into small to mid-sized manufacturing warehouse operations, including distribution centers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the development of sales and marketing strategies, tactics, processes and procedures in the durable goods industry. Successful track record in marketing/selling new products into the manufacturing space is required. Prior success in selling a start-up product is preferred. Experience with material handling equipment is helpful. Degree in business, finance or marketing is required.
