AllSpire Health Partners, an alliance of five health care systems undertaking joint activities to drive clinical excellence, improve healthcare affordability and enhance economic sustainability, is in need of a Director of Human Resources. The position will report to the Vice-President of Finance & Operations.
This newly created position (one person department) is responsible for the establishment of the company’s first human resources department and the leadership/ management of all human resources activities for the company. The Director of HR will work closely with the VP of Finance & Operations, as well as other members of the management team, to ensure that the company’s human resources programs, policies and practices are progressive, managed consistently and are meeting the business needs of the company.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of progressive human resources experience, PHR/SPHR certification, and an MBA. Prior HR work experience in either the healthcare, biotech, life sciences or insurance industries is required. Experience implementing a startup Human Resources department is also helpful.
Hands-on experience in talent management, compensation, benefits, change management, organization design, employee relations, HR administration and compliance is required. The right person will possess outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven track record of success in building an HR function The ideal candidate is a team player with strong oral/written communication skills.
