Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator

The ideal candidate has a degree in occupational safety, hands on work experience in an HSE role for less than 5 years, and the ability to work in the outside elements on a regular basis. Prior work experience in construction or heavy manufacturing is preferred. The ability to perform lifting, bending, climbing, working at heights, working in confined spaces, extended walking or standing is required.

The position will report to the Director,  HSE at the Philly Shipyard. The position’s schedule requires work Monday through Thursday (10 hour days) with the need to work rotating schedule on weekends and nights. Rotating schedule for weekends and nights usually occurs every 5 to 6 weeks. The position offers competitive salary and benefits, including relocation benefits.
