COMHAR, INC., headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, is searching for a Chief Program Officer. The CPO will be a key member of the management team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In this new role, the Chief Program Officer will have the responsibility and authority to provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to support COMHAR’s clinical programs and operational goals organization wide. The Chief Program Officer will be responsible for the management on a day-to-day basis of the Divisional Directors of Behavioral Health, Intellectual Disabilities, Children and Families, LGBTQI &HIV/AIDS, Latino Treatment Program and Facilities. As part of the day-to-day management the CPO will regularly evaluate programs for their effectiveness and make improvements where necessary; track and report on how services are delivered and support findings with objective data including statistics, research, and evaluation tools; and where appropriate provide direction in creating and implementing new programs. In addition, the CPO is responsible for ensuring the programs operate in compliance with federal, state and local policies and practices.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other Human Services related discipline. 15 plus years of progressive management experience in human service program delivery, including knowledge of compliance standards and fiscal regulations required. Experience working in a managed care environment with primary and behavioral health care integration and IDD Services preferred. A minimum of ten years hands-on supervisory/ management experience required. A Clinical Licensure is required along with a strong working knowledge of the various accreditation requirements related to healthcare. A working knowledge of electronic medical record systems and requirements is required.
