Human Capital Consulting Partners has been retained by CLEAN-FLO INTERNATIONAL, a world leader in clean water aeration systems located in West Chester, PA to conduct a search for an Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager is the hands-on day-to-day owner of all things related to Operations, Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Costs. Working closely with the owners to create or update processes around these focus areas, the Operations Manager will then work on a daily basis with their team to make sure the processes are followed and continuously improved. Focus will be on the safety of our entire operation, making sure people are in alignment with the Clean-Flo core values and culture, ensuring that Clean-Flo ships/installs the highest quality products possible, delivers on time, and does this in a profitable way.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of individual contributors
  • Sets priorities and schedule for the team to ensure task completion
  • Identifies and resolves day-to-day quality, technical, and operational issues
  • Sets priorities to meet daily deadlines; develops plans to meet short-term objectives and KPIs
  • Works within budgetary/financial objectives
  • Responsible for reducing waste and constantly driving continuous improvement
  • Responsible to review and approve procedures as needed
  • Exercise judgment and decision making to ensure quality product is reliably produced while managing cost; responsible supply performance metrics include schedule adherence and achieving lead time targets
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify, prioritize and champion improvement initiatives to improve process efficiency, delivery time, and costs
  • Provide coaching, timely feedback and performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Keep all team members informed on current policies and procedures, and all other company communications
  • Identify root causes of operations issues and implement corrective action to minimize downtime with a focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required by ownership
  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching

Required Experience and Education

  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA helpful
  • 7 to 10 years’ experience working in an environmental/sustainability/construction company, with experience in water aeration systems helpful.Ability to be flexible and understand risk
  • Prior supervisory experience of at least 2 yearsExcellent communication skills and people skills
  • Experience in developing proposals including pricing and project plans.
