SIS.bio (sis.bio) and CLEAN-FLO International (www.clean-flo.com) located in West Chester, PA, has retained Human Capital Consulting Partners to recruit their first Marketing Executive. SIS.bio is a biotechnology company operating in the water sector that operates on a global basis and is experiencing rapid growth. CLEAN-FLO International is a USA-based subsidiary of SIS.bio with a 50-year track record in biologically treating lakes, ponds and reservoirs.

SIS.bio’s approach is based on invoking nature and supporting natural processes to sustainably restore water quality, and benefits aquatic life including fish and is used in drinking water reservoirs. Their Water Biotechnology Solution Platform provides a configurable toolkit, developed from “first principles” that enables solutions for water quality management across a wide set of applications ranging from wastewater treatment in municipalities, livestock manure management, recreational lakes, drinking water reservoirs, and aquaculture. 

The Marketing Executive reporting to the CEO will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of the SIS.bio and CLEAN-FLO long-term marketing strategies including the creation of market segments and the company’s strategic positioning, along with sales support and the public relations strategy in line with company business objectives. In addition, this role is responsible for taking the approved marketing strategy and developing/implementing the day-to-day marketing tactics in order to attract potential customers and retain new ones. 

Also, the Marketing Executive will handle the implementation and management of campaigns, programs and services including market analysis, positioning, presentations, trade shows, academic research papers and consultative sales support. Collaborate with internal and external clients, opinion leaders and other key stakeholders to identify and position the Company’s value proposition and support the success of the business growth objectives.

Qualifications

Education and Training:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related business discipline. MBA degree preferred. 

Knowledge:

Marketing strategy for professional consultative services, campaign development and execution, tracking and measurement. An understanding of the Water Sector is required to understand the basics of the scientific and technical aspects of the SIS.bio Water Biotechnology Solution Platform and its applications. Along with an understanding of the dynamics and pressures around new technology start-ups, rapid organizational development and growth, and the need for effective marketing that produces results to drive growth. 

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and CRM. 

Experience:

Five to eight years of progressive marketing, market research, public relations, sales promotion and communication experience in a professional services environment or equivalent. Strong strategic thinking, and experience in developing comprehensive marketing strategies and tactical execution are required. 

Must have strong project management experience and the ability to handle a wide range of concurrent activities. Must have extensive experience integrating social media. Prior experience in new technology, start-up or rapid growing company is helpful. 

Skills/Aptitudes:

Must have excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, the ability to multitask, efficiently produce quality products, and understand client requirements. Must be a strategic and innovative thinker with relationship management, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and customer focus skills. Outstanding writing skills with the ability to adapt communications to different audiences. Ability to deal with ambiguity, loose and rapid evolving organization structure, and a “can do” attitude. 

Ability to travel internationally to spend time in the field understanding technology applications, installations, market environment etc. is required.
